Custom wardrobes for Stanhope Gardens homes
Stanhope Gardens is 2000s estate housing with big bedrooms, high ceilings and robes that were fitted to a builder's budget rather than to the people living there.

Wardrobes for Stanhope Gardens homes
Stanhope Gardens was developed through the 2000s around the Stanhope Village centre, and most of it is double-storey family homes with four or five bedrooms, 2.7 metre ground-floor ceilings and a main bedroom walk-in. Newer townhouses and apartments sit closer to the shops. The houses are twenty years old now, which is about when builder-grade wardrobes start to show it.
The jobs here split two ways. In the walk-ins, it is a re-fit: the single rail and shelf come out and a layout with double hanging, a drawer bank and shoe shelving goes in. In the other bedrooms, it is the sliding robes, where the vinyl-wrap doors have started peeling or the floor tracks have gone, and a floor-to-ceiling replacement with mirror or matt panel doors is the fix.
Stanhope Gardens homes also have a lot of under-used tall cupboards: linen presses, pantries and garage walls. Those are the same cabinetry and the same visit.

Questions from Stanhope Gardens homeowners
Anything else? Ask your designer at your onsite consult.
The vinyl on our sliding doors is peeling. Can the doors be re-covered?
Not well. Peeling vinyl-wrap means the adhesive has failed, and it keeps going. New doors made in polytec board or mirror, on a proper aluminium track, are the lasting fix, and the old doors go away with us.
Our ceilings are 2.7 metres. Does a floor-to-ceiling robe make sense at that height?
Yes. The top 600mm becomes a shelf for luggage and seasonal things. It is the cheapest storage in the house, and a robe that stops at 2.1 metres under a 2.7 metre ceiling looks unfinished.
How far is Stanhope Gardens from your factory?
