Wardrobes
Hinged wardrobes with the whole robe in view at once
Classic swing-door robes for period homes, hallways and bedrooms — in flat panel, routed shaker or raised-profile doors, floor to ceiling if you like.
Hinged Wardrobes
The traditional robe, built properly
A hinged wardrobe opens completely, so everything inside is in view and in reach at the same time. It suits period homes with profiled doors and trims, hallways and studies, and any bedroom where there is room for the doors to swing.
Door styles run from clean flat panels to routed shaker profiles and raised panels, in the polytec wardrobe range of whites, woodgrains and textures. Add overhead cupboards to take the cabinetry to the ceiling and reclaim the dead space above.
Behind the doors, the internals are designed around you: hanging, adjustable shelving, drawers, wire baskets and shoe storage — manufactured in our Blacktown factory and installed by your designer.

Questions we get asked about hinged wardrobes
Anything else? Ask your designer at your onsite consult.
Hinged or sliding?
Hinged doors give you the whole opening at once and suit traditional rooms, but they need clearance to swing. Sliding doors need no clearance and suit compact bedrooms. Your designer will recommend the right one for your room, onsite.
Can you match my existing doors and trims?
We will match door profiles and colours as closely as the range allows, and colour-match to your architraves and skirtings where we can.
Can a hinged wardrobe go floor to ceiling?
Yes — overhead cupboards above the main doors take the cabinetry right up to the ceiling and use the space you would otherwise lose.
