Wardrobes for Castle Hill homes
Castle Hill's established streets are 1970s and 1980s single and double-storey brick homes on large blocks, many of them renovated more than once. Closer to Castle Towers and the Metro are newer townhouses and apartment buildings. The two halves want different things from a wardrobe.
In the established homes, owners who have renovated the kitchen and bathrooms are usually looking for the bedrooms to catch up. That means hinged robes with routed shaker or flat-panel doors that match the new joinery, a walk-in where an extension has made room for one, and internals with a proper drawer bank, jewellery drawer and lighting. These are finish-driven jobs, where the colour sample matters as much as the layout.
In the apartments, bedrooms are compact and the built-in robe has to use the full wall, floor to ceiling, with sliding doors so the bed can sit close.

Questions from Castle Hill homeowners
Anything else? Ask your designer at your onsite consult.
Can the wardrobe doors match our new kitchen?
Usually, yes. The polytec range we build with covers most of the colours and profiles used in current kitchens. The designer brings samples to the consult and matches against your kitchen doors in your light.
We want hinged doors but the bed is close to the robe. Is that a problem?
Hinged doors need roughly their own width of clearance to swing. If the bed sits within about 600mm of the wardrobe, sliding doors are the better choice, and we will say so at the consult. Some rooms suit a hinged tower at one end and sliders across the rest.
How far is Castle Hill from your factory?
