Wardrobes in Seven Hills
Custom wardrobes for Seven Hills homes
Seven Hills is a few minutes from our factory, and its 1960s and 70s brick homes, with their generous blocks and ordinary wardrobes, are the kind of job we do most.

Wardrobes for Seven Hills homes
Most of Seven Hills was built between the late 1950s and the 1970s: single-storey brick-veneer and fibro homes on 600 to 700 square metre blocks, three bedrooms, 2.4 metre ceilings, and a built-in robe in each bedroom that was good for its day and has not aged well. Along the main roads and near the station are newer townhouses and a growing number of knock-down rebuilds and granny flats.
In the original homes the bedrooms are a reasonable size and the wardrobe recess is often deeper than it looks, so there is room for a full floor-to-ceiling sliding robe with double hanging and a drawer bank. Hinged doors suit these houses too, especially where the owner has kept the timber architraves and wants the robe to match.
For the rebuilds and granny flats, the issue is usually the opposite: builder-supplied doors with nothing useful behind them, which is a straightforward internals re-fit.

Questions from Seven Hills homeowners
Anything else? Ask your designer at your onsite consult.
How far is Seven Hills from your factory?
About 4 km. Seven Hills is one of the closest suburbs we service, so scheduling a consult and an install is easy and there is no travel built into the quote.
We have a granny flat in Seven Hills. Do you fit wardrobes in those?
Yes, and it is a common request. Granny flat bedrooms are small, so a custom robe that uses the full wall and goes to the ceiling makes a real difference to the room.
The original wardrobe in our 1960s house is built into the wall. Can it come out?
Usually yes. Older robes are typically a timber frame and chipboard fixed into a recess. We remove and dispose of it and build the new robe into the same opening, and we tell you at the consult if there is any making good to do.
